Educational Background
Studied science and engineering at the University of Michigan. His work related training includes many specific courses in CAD design, GD&T, along with classes in electrical, pneumatic and hydraulic processors and control systems.
Work History:
1985-1989
Steve’s career started with a plastic industry manufacturer as a Designer. Steve helped develop improved mixing sections for injection molding machines, dealt with controls and processors for injection and blow molding machines and gained valuable field service and repair experience.
1989 to present: Michigan Roll Form, Inc
Steve was hired as a Technical Sales Engineer and, as part of MRF’s training policy, worked in each department of the facility. While he was in engineering, where new machinery and tooling were designed and developed, Steve’s duties included providing equipment start-up and training at customer sites.
Steve’s transition into sales was a natural progression. His heavy engineering and manufacturing background provides our many loyal customers the confidence in MRF to build long-standing relationships.
Steve developed the majority of the company’s international customer base. He credits MRF’s top-notch quality and it’s tremendous problem solving ability as key to its success. These capabilities provide both new and current customers the products and support to not only be competitive, but also to increase their profits.
Along with providing service to his customers as General Sales Manager, Steve is also provides sales force guidance for all metal and plastic industries products.
Personal:
As further evidence of Steve’s commitment to long term relationships, he is a devoted husband to Sandy, his wife of over 25 years, (they met in kindergarten) and works hard at being the best father he can be to his ten (yes 10) kids!
